Annieglass Ripple Collection Kiwi Dinner Plate Scalloped Acid Green Discontinued.
This listing is for a set of 6 plates.
These are flawless, with zero damage or signs of wear.
5 of the plates have the date code 35/32, which translates to production date of February 2005.
One of the six is dated differently from the other five, and it was made in March of 2004. This date code is the only difference - form, technique, color, etc are identical among the plates.
I photograph under full spectrum bulbs to give the truest impression of color.
These, to me, read an acid, citron green. Annieglass called the color "Kiwi."
They are pieces from a discontinued Ripple Collection.
The color was airbrushed on to the surface of the glass and is totally food safe. It is a glass glaze. This collection has been discontinued for quite a few years.
The diameter, tricky to measure because of the uneven rim, is basically 10 inches which is your standard size for a dinner plate.
The last two photos are to show the clarity or translucency and the "hand" or the handmade quality.
These are loud, bold, unusual - and I have no doubt - with the right sense of style and the right setting, could be spectacular.
