    Description

This oil lamp or oil candle is about 6.25" wide and 2.25" tall.  I bought it from a friend who used to live in Washington.  She told me that it was made from the glass from the Mount St. Helens volcano.  It is in excellent condition.  There are a few very small flaws in the glass.  At first, they look like chips, but when you run your fingernail over them, the glass surface is smooth and the defect is on the inside or in the glass.  The small hole that holds the wick does have a couple very small chips, but you can not see them with the wick and holder in place.  The glass surrounding the hole is ground flat and polished.  You will need a very small funnel to fill the lamp with oil.  If you use a magnifying lens, you can see a few very light scratches on the bottom where it sits on the table.  No maker's mark or label.

Recently (mid 2021), eBay stopped allowing sellers to use Ground US Postal Service service with their label printing software, so I will not be showing it in the listing.  It is rather confusing that they allow it to be shown, but not used in the label software.  If you want me to quote Ground USPS service, send me an e-mail and make sure you include your Zip Code.  eBay is
    essentially
raising the overall price of items by not allowing us to use the less expensive service with their label software.  And then they charge us a 10% fee on shipping!
