BARBERSHOP "ROTO SEAT"
These are known as "These were known as the barber's best friend"
.
If you can remember they were on the side of the main chair and swung around so the barber could sit while cutting. This type was named ROTO SEAT OR THE UNIVERSAL BARBER SEAT. These were advertised in all the barber journals and by local sales distributors with their ads. This authentic reproduction was used to market their chairs to the barbershops. There are prices and photos/drawings along with humorous ads. The sign measures 6 1/2" by 9"

where this was to be sold or used. My father always bought 3 of everything just in case- 1 used 2 stored away new- very lucky for me now. He was a barber for over 65 years in the same location so it’s nice to pass on his passion!
The photos are a bit blurred as they were taken off a TV special on my dad. This is a rare find to most avid barber collectibles
